The DD-4045 is the latest addition to the company's line-up of horizontal directional drills and features a Cummins~? QSB 4.5 turbocharged Tier 3 Stage IIIA diesel and charge air-cooled engine that produces 156hp(116Kw). With the maximum rotary speed reaching up to 200 rpm, the DD4045 provides 40,000 lbs of thrust/pull-back force with the capability of up to 4,500 ft-lbs of rotary torque. The drill weighs 20,000 lbs., and is 257 inches long by 83 inches wide at the tracks.
