Austin's Guthikonda Receives Distinguished 2012 MVP Award

For Gopal K. Guthikonda, P.E., assistant di rector of the Engineering Services Program for Austin Water, Austin, TX, being selected as the 2012 Most Valuable Professional (MVP) came as a complete surprise. But his colleagues and those who have worked with him in the underground industry believe the award is well deserved as was evidenced by the sold-out luncheon held in his honor. Guthikonda earned the distinction of the Underground Construction Technology Association (UCTA) and Underground Construction magazine's 2012 MVP at a special ceremony held during the annual Underground Construction Technology International Conference & Exhibition (UCT) at the Hilton Pavilion in San Antonio, TX, on Jan 24.
