Adam Cambridge, technical authority for urban stormwater management at Atkins - one of the Centre's partners - says: "We've completed a month's worth of literature review around it - not just looking at the work or research that has been completed in the UK but around the world. We found that the UK is not alone in this, everyone around the world is struggling with this problem of groundwater infiltration into sewers and no-one has got the answer when it comes to the degradation of the asset.
