Galerie for the City of Stuttgart: Museum in Tunnel

The Ed. Zueblin AG is undertaking the technically and logistically highly complicated roughwork for the new Galerie der Stadt Stuttgart in the city centre. Beneath the four-storey museum building on the Kleiner Schlossplatz, directly on the Koenigstrasse pedestrian zone, 2 two-lane tunnels link the federal highways B 27 and B 14 (Fig. 1). The museum is being constructed without hampering traffic and while the tunnel routes are redeveloped.
