The superordinated aim of enhancing the fire resistance of mortars and concrete products is geared to securing structural fire protection, minimising the extent of damage and the possibility of the speedy and cost-favourable repair of structures. The following report demonstrates how this can e.g. be attained using natural fibres made of flax.
