Tunnelling in Germany: Statistics (2011/2012), Analysis and Outlook

For almost 35 years, the STUVA, in line with a corresponding proposal put forward by the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association, has compiled statistics on tunnelling activities in Germany [1]. As in previous years, the STUVA also undertook a survey of current tunnelling projects in Germany at the turn of the year 2011/2012. The outcome is compiled in tabular form for the month of December 2011 and subsequently assessed.%Seit nahezu 35 Jahren führt die STUVA eine Statistik zum Tunnelbau in Deutschland. Anlass hierzu war und ist eine entsprechende Anregung der International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association [1].rnWie in den Vorjahren hat die STUVA auch für den Jahreswechsel 2011/12 eine Umfrage zu den laufenden Tunnelbauvorhaben in Deutschland durchgeführt.
