Directional Drilling Used to Install Michigan Force Main

Both Hampton Township and the City of Essexville in Bay County Mich., were in need of a way to transport wastewater from their respective communities to the West Bay County Wastewater Treatment Plant located in Ban-gor Township - roughly five miles away. The only problem was not the great distance the wastewater needed to travel but the Saginaw River that stood between the two communities and their treatment plant.
