摘要

In developing a ground coil it is important to verify its durability. We have carried out durability tests so far mainly by adding a mechanical load to the surface of a ground coil, and obtained useful test results. In addition we examined an apparatus that generates electromagnetic force on the ground coil conductor by using the magnetic field of superconducting magnets. We also carried out an electromagnetic vibration test of a ground coil to con- firm whether we can use this method in developing the apparatus. This paper describes the concept of the appara- tus and test results.
