FTA unveils latest guide

The Freight Transport Association has launched the 16th edition of its annual guide for international road transport operators. The guide includes information to help clarify regulations faced by UK operators when they visit countries in the EU and beyond. As usual, country profiles are used to equip transport managers with the information they need to avoid delays and deal effectively with roadside enforcement. However, this latest edition also features updated information on public holidays, weekend lorry bans and toll prices. Each year, suggestions from FTA members are included, and new sections in this edition include coverage of Algeria, updates on safe loading and the DocStop scheme, which is available for drivers in parts of Europe.
