Owen Pugh's tippers prove value of top specs

Tyneside-based Owen Pugh Group is adding six new tippers to its fleet - all Loadmasters built on Scania 8x4 chassis. Three are already in service, working on the same jobs as much older vehicles - one in particular being a 340bhp Volvo FM registered in November 2001. "The body on that truck is a true testimony to the Loadmaster," comments Owen Pugh group plant and fleet manager Stewart Grainger. "It might need a lick of paint, but it still has all the strength and structural integrity it had the day it was new."
