Operators now have more choice of annual test providers, with the opening of the 350th Authorised Testing Facility (ATF) at Morrison's Bridgewater site. "The first ATF opened in January 2010 and today nearly 70% of tests are conducted at non-VOSA sites," comments VOSA chief executive Alastair Peoples. "For most [operators] getting vehicles tested, it means a shorter distance to travel, meaning less downtime for vehicles and employees, as well as savings on fuel costs."
