Container movement business Buckley Transport has taken delivery of two Euro 6 DAF CF FTG 6×2 tractors, which it will operate for up to eight years. The CFs were specified with the MX-13 12.9-litre engine, rated at 460bhp to give a power-to-weight ratio in excess of 10bhp/tonne at 44 tonnes. Asda has achieved the Van Excellence accreditation from the FTA (Freight Transport Association) for its 1,800-strong home delivery fleet of light commercial vehicles. Van Excellence has now accredited more than 100,000 vehicles.
