Stertil Koni's on the buses

Keighley Bus Company says its vehicle workshop is operating more safely and efficiently since installing a four-post Stertil Koni vehicle lift. Workshop manager Paul Shaw says the new lift - an ST4175 electro-hydraulic unit - replaced a standard inspection pit, and is also proving to be highly versatile and easy to use. While the pit was satisfactory for routine inspections, he explains, it was often unsuitable for subsequent repair and maintenance tasks. However since the 17.5-tonne capacity lift has been installed, buses can be repaired and inspected without the need to move them to designated areas of the workshop.
