I read last month's article 'Turning Point' regarding the DVSA with interest. Clearly it has some issues over staffing at ATFs. However the section that caught my attention was where Gareth Llewellyn calmly stated that of some 80,000 operators in the UK there are 10,000 operators (12.5%) who have an OCRS score that is red (high risk). That there are 10,000 operators with a high risk score is quite shocking. In the highway code, red means stop! DVSA should take immediate action against them.
