One in five of UK drivers, some 7.5 million road users, experience road rage at least once a week, while 6%- more than two million -admit to being angry behind the wheel every day. That's according to research from workforce technology company BigChange, which commissioned a survey of 1,000 people who drive for work in the UK. Younger drivers are worse, with 42% of 18- to 34-year-olds admitting to road rage at least once a week; this figure drops to 7% for those aged over 55. Volvo Trucks is introducing new monitoring services, for tyres and truck components, in a bid to boost customer uptime by predicting potential failures before they occur. The services include a new tyre management service, a pilot for advanced monitoring of the health of truck components, and an artificial intelligence project. Bus operator RATP Dev London has taken delivery of 36 Enviro200 EV electric buses supplied by the BYD ADL partnership, which has also transformed the operator's Shepherd's Bush garage into an advanced electric bus depot. The bus order was placed a year ago and saw 36 of the 10.8m vehicles supplied along with 37 charging units and associated infrastructure. Oil, lubricants and treatments manufacturer Millers Oils has launched a new fully synthetic commercial vehicle engine oil developed for Euro VI engines. Called Trucksynth 10W-40, the product is also compatible with Euro IV and V engines, making it ideal for mixed-age fleets.
