Iveco middleweights fight back with facelift and auto boxes

The first right-hand-drive versions of Iveco's facelifted Eurocargo range, spanning 7.5 tonnes to 18 tonnes gvw, are due to arrive in the UK in September, it was confirmed last month. Speaking in Turin at the official unveiling of the latest revamp of a truck range that first went into production 17 years ago, Iveco's UK marketing director Andrea Bucci said that list prices are being raised by 10 per per cent with the new Eurocargo range, despite Iveco's faltering position in the 7.5 tonnes and 18 tonnes gvw market sectors, to take account of a move to Euro-5 engines and fitment of automated mechanical (ZF AS Tronic) gearboxes as standard.
