The longitudinal control system of the ALFLEX is investigated theoretically. First, Multiple Delay Model and Multiple Design Point approach (MDM/MDP) Methods are applied to investigated the effect of inserting the delay model into the control loop. Linear equations of motion are used. Feedback and feed forward gain matrix to control the flight characteristic of The ALFLEX is decided uniquely. The stability of this system is discussed. Then, the neural Network (NN) system is introduced into the control loop, And the effect of learning is investigated b using both nonlinear and linear Equations of motion.
