Keep the history alive! Everybody needs to keep supporting these organizations that have steam locomotives. Van Byous I love seeing NS give new life to steam excursions. It is a great way for them to spread the word about safety around the tracks, while keeping interest in the railroad industry with the young and older generations. Don Oltmann Norfolk Southern's new steam program is great, but it needs more open-air experience. Half the fun is hearing and smelling the locomotive work.
