Gravel roads, animals and wide open spaces

With a population of just two million, Namibia has one of the lowest population densities on earth. About three times the size of the United Kingdom, the country has a road network of over 42,000 km of trunk roads which are considered to be some of the best on the continent. Yet Namibia's road safety record is poor.
