A man with a mission

Readers of TEC with an interest in passive safety will be familiar with the name, Andy Pledge. For some years now Andy has been a one-man campaign to promote the concept of safer roadside. Until recently Head of Traffic Management with Mott MacDon-ald, Andy worked on pioneering projects which involved the use of passively safe road furniture. These demonstration projects helped to achieve type approval for the growing number of passively safe posts and columns which are now available on the market.
