Uk Isa-the Final Report

The UK's ISA (Intelligent Speed Adaptation) research project has published its final report. The project, financed by the Department for Transport and carried out by the University of Leeds and MIRA, built on earlier work funded by the then DETR which concluded in 2000. There has also been a large scale ISA trial in Sweden, concluding in 2002 after involving some 4,500 vehicles, as well as a parallel project in France called LAVIA which was quite similar in scope to the UK project.
