Traffic Technology has helped Bristol City Council develop a new cycle route. Bristol is a Cycling City with a target to double the number of cyclist and wanted a counter located on an old disused iron railway bridge to monitor usage. Two previous counter installations had proved unsuccessful. Traffic Technology installed a ZELT Eco-Multi combined cycle/pedestrian counter. Battery operated, it contains two sensors, one specially designed to capture the unique magnetic signature generated by cycles, the other to monitor pedestrians.
