Experiences of data capture in an inter-urban environment

Enablecom are digitally mapping the UK's road network with respect to speed limits for use in passive and active ISA devices. To-date, approximately 90% of the UK's mainland with respect to motorways, principal/trunk routes, A-roads and B-roads has been mapped. The Scottish Highlands and some parts of East Anglla remain to be completed. In this article, we provide a little information about the means and mechanisms by which this data capture was achieved.
