We write in response to both the article published in the June edition of TEC written by David Milne and subsequent reply submitted by Ian Savell. Having read both sides of what is clearly a very emotive and passionate subject to both correspondents we feel that a more considered option lies somewhere in-between. There is however, one point that from the onset we must challenge! No one deserves to die on our roads, or to expect that because of their inexperience, poor teaching or for that matter attitude is less deserving of our care.
