NEW PASSIVE SAFETY SYSTEM IS LAUNCHED AT TRAFFEX

Traffex saw the launch of the TMP Spectralyte range of passively safe, fibre composite, signposts, lighting columns and LED illuminated posts. Only available in the UK and Ireland from TMP, the Spectralyte range has been used extensively throughout Europe since 2003.rnJohn Bailey, Managing Director of TMP, explains that the signposts and columns are manufactured in one production process by vacuum moulding glass fibre reinforced composite materials which he says, in comparison to steel and aluminium, has numerous advantages. 'It weighs a third of the weight of steel and is therefore easier to handle and install. It also offers many benefits in terms of performance, maintenance and safety.' He adds that as glass fibre composite materials are less susceptible to corrosion, the TMP Spectralyte rangernhas an expected lifespan of over 50 years.
