Frangible post system available in range of sizes

There was considerable excitement when, at Traffex in 2007, 3M unveiled the frangible post system, the first significant UK-designed and developed passively safe post to become available in the market.rnOn display on the 3M stand was a 140mm outside diameter post, designed to have a similar structural performance as a 114mm steel post. There was the assumption of more sizes to come but last year 3M surprisingly decided not to proceed with the development of the product range for their own internal reasons. However, that is far from being the end of the story.
