摘要

It was most welcome that TEC consider motorcycle collisions and David Milne highlights a number of issues previously identified by the IHE in its Guidelines for Motorcycling ～ improving safety through engineering and integration . I cannot help but feel, however, that David does his argument for considering motorcyclists in highway design no good at all by repeating a number of the often recited stereotypes of users of this particular 'vulnerable' form of transport.
