Swedes find a place for the lightweight gantry

A few years ago the Highways Agency investigated whether a lightweight gantry could be developed as an alternative to the structures that were currently being used. A prototype was built by Lattix and crash-tested by TRL in 2005 and although some issues were identified it seemed that the lightweight gantry was set to take its place at the UK's roadside.
