A competition, funded by the EC and open to anyone, is being held by TRL to encourage innovative ideas on how to reduce or prevent the tampering of L-Category vehicles. The 'L' stands for 'Light' vehicles such as powered cycles, mopeds, scooters, and motorcycles which may be modified either for customisation or repair. The aim of the competition is to identify effective solutions to these tampering events to protect the environment and the safety of road users including riders and passengers.
