ITS developments take car safety to another level

As the driver of a small, eight-year old car that has seen better days, I often find myself eyeing newer cars somewhat jealously. Whether it is their bi-xenon adaptive headlights or the promise of significantly better fuel efficiency, it is hard not to be drawn in by the allure of modern vehicles. However, the most desirable aspect of such cars is the advance in safety that have taken place over recent years. As part of a driver training course, I was fortunate enough to take to a test track in a number of new cars from a well-known Swedish brand famed for its emphasis on safety.
