TEC and Siemens launch Young Traffic & Transport Engineer of the Year Award

TEC is joining forces with Siemens to find the next generation of traffic and transport engineers, with the launch of a new competition which will see the winner receive a year's contract with Siemens Mobility in the UK. The aim of the award is to help promote young, talented engineers in the industry alongside the important role of traffic and transport engineers within local authorities and the private sector. The award, which will be launched at the JCT Symposium at the Univeristy of Warwick in the UK on September 19, will see undergraduates compete for the prize over a year. Entrants, will write a series of technical papers, undertake work experience at Siemens UK and undertake a number of face-to face interviews, with TEC and Siemens working with a numer of key Univeristies and Colleges in the UK.
