Commuters in Signapore now have a choice of apps that will help them travel around the country more effectively. Singapore's Land Transport Authority (LTA) is launching a series of smartphone application that aim to improve the daily commute of its residents. Since 2012, the LTA has been using advanced data analytics to plough through the wealth of fare-card information and gain a better understanding of commuter patterns and travelling demand under the ongoing Bus Service Enhancement Program (BSEP). Designed to help commuters reach their destinations by mapping out the shortest and most convenient route to their destinations on either buses or trains.
