UK Government publishes new infrastructure shopping list

The UK Government has announced a massive shopping list of £375bn worth of planned infrastructure works running up to 2030 and beyond, in a new National Infrastructure Plan published today. Covering energy, transport, flood defence, waste, water and communications infrastructure, the plan is published alongside an Infrastructure Pipeline, which Treasury officials claim is 'the most comprehensive overview of planned and potential UK infrastructure investment ever produced'.
