MaaS movement is on the way

Three UK conurbations - in the Midlands, North and South of England - are in the running to host the first national pilot for the fast-spreading Mobility as a Service (MaaS) concept. Originating in Finland, this is gaining attention around the world as what its advocates are claiming to be the definitive, ITS-based solution to cities' chronic over-reliance on private car ownership, and the social and environmental problems that this entails.
