It's widely agreed that Mobility as a Service is a 'Good Idea'. From politicians to urban planners, transport consultants to technology providers, this appears, in Bronte-speak, to be a truth universally acknowledged. Yet, as the founding members of the ITS (UK) MaaS interest group write, there is a chasm between the longlist of cities signed up to the concept and the very short one of active trials and, as for mainstream operational schemes, that list remains empty.
