THE VIEW ITS (UK)

Talking about the future of transport and of what rote Intelligent Transport Systems will play is professionally essential but it is also a lot of fun. ITS (UK) is not the only organisation spending a fair amount of time on this. Some of you may remember the DTI/Foresight Scenarios from perhaps a decade back - visions of 50 years into the future ranging from happy village communities with a hippyish vibe to nightmarish fractured individualistic city non-communities where humankind seemed to have adopted technology purely with the aim of making itself miserable. As I said, lots of fun.
