Making roadworks work

Issues of non-compliance for roadworks are taken very seriously by my team, particularly when they involve safety and disruption. In March we successfully prosecuted BT Openreach, where the court ruled that they must pay a record fine of £90,000 for safety breaches. We are continuing to work with BT on this and have an ongoing action plan to support them to improve on this critical issue.
