Event Management in Sport, Recreation and Tourism provides a theoretical and practical framework for planning and managing events. Its intended audience, undergraduate students, are placed in the role of an event manager and taken on a journey through the lifecycle of an event. Along the way the authors infuse the various aspects of event management with thought experiments, critical thinking activities, case studies, and practical examples.
