The numbers aer staggering:Every day 50 million Americans are unsure where their next meal will come from. That's one in six people who live in the richest country on earth, nearly one in four children, and it's the big reason Feeding America—the country's largest domestic hunger-relief organization—has once again designated September as Hunger Action Month. The goal of the program is to encourage everyone to take action to end domestic hunger. During September, Feeding America is encouraging all Americans to team up with their local food banks to discover the ways—by volunteering, donating or raising awareness—they can help end hunger in the U.S.
