Atlanta's High Museum of Art commissioned British photographer Martin Parr to document the American South in a series of images that inspired wonder on our photo blog. Though one reader thought Parr was too focused on "fat people eating," many were struck by his eye for everyday eccentricities at cookouts, left, and other places.
