Asia-Pacific Forestry Week: Forestry in a Changing World

The first-ever Asia-Pacific Forestry Week will be organized 21-25 April 2008, in Hanoi, Vietnam. It is expected to be the largest and the most important forestry event in the region in 2008. Asia-Pacific Forestry Week will bring together 350-500 individuals from governments, nongovernmental organizations, research institutions, regional and international networks, UN agencies and the private sector. High-level forestry officials from throughout the Asia-Pacific region, spanning from Pakistan to the South Pacific island countries, are expected to attend.
