摘要

This is a story about me, my sister, my brother and my forest. I live in a Terai village of Nepal. Nepal is a country situated in South Asia. The Asia-Pacific region comprises some of the richest and the poorest economies, most populated and the least populated countries and countries with the most extensive and least extensive national forest area. My country is an example of one of the poorest economies, though rich in natural resources, especially forest resources. My family consists of my father, mother, a younger brother and an elder sister. My sister got married in the hills while my brother went abroad (to one of the leading economies of the world) for employment. So my blind father, sick mother and I work in others' farms to survive.
