The (ⅩⅣ) World Forestry Congress will be held in Durban, South Africa, 7 to 11 September 2015. This is the first Congress to be held in Africa. The Congress will be the occasion for the world's forestry community to share their expertise and experience, and to project a new vision for the future in order to strengthen the role of forests and forestry in sustainable development. This (ⅩⅣ) Congress will be particularly timely with the expected adoption of the post-2015 Sustainable Development Goals.
