The proceedings of International Union of the Materials Research Society - International Conference in Asia 2012 - IUMRS-ICA 2012

摘要

The International Union of the Materials Research Society -International Conference in Asia 2012 (IUMRS-ICA 2012) was initiated to provide an open forum for discussing state-of-the art scientific and technological achievements in materials science and technology fields, leading to future industrial applications. The scope of IUMRS-ICA 2012 included the following symposia: (1) Electronic and Photonic Materials, (2) Functional Materials, (3) Advanced Structural Materials, (4) Materials for Energy and Environmental Applications, and (5) Modeling and Characterization. Many of the submitted papers described newly-developed materials, processes, and device technologies as well as the development of basic and novel material technologies. In this respect, highly interesting and fructuous communications about diverse materials, processing, and device technologies between basic science and applied engineering communities occurred at the meeting. Sharing research achievements from conference activities will benefit the scientific community around the world.
