Investigations were made of the structure, ;thermal nonequilibrium of heat transferee, and hydrodynamics for film boiling of liquid nitrogen in horizontal tubes 19 and 35 mm in diameter. Data were obtained on regimes and boundaries of the regimes of the steam-liquid flow, and on the extent of the thermal nonequilibrium. The results of experiments on heat transfer and pressure drops for a model with a separate description of the phases were summarized.
