An experiment with leakage of the coolant from the outlet plenum performed on a stand

The results and an analysis of an experiment that was run on a full-scale integral safety stand(FISS- VVER)are presented; the stand simulates a VVER-1000 reactor installation. The initial event was a break with 4/100 leakage of the coolant from the outlet plenum when the hydraulic tanks of the emergency core-cooling sys- tem(ECCS)were in operation and when the high-and the low-pressure systems for the emergency cooling of the core failed.
