Optimization of Starting Regimes of a TP-80 Boiler

The results of starting up a TP-80 boiler burning gas are presented; the boiler is started up without supplying steam from an outside source to its drum and to the facilities designed for accelerated cooling, and also with the supply of steam to these facilities during the initial stage of starting. It was found that, in the sec- ond case, a permissible temperature difference between the top and the bottom of the "body" of the drum is maintained and the time of starting up and the fuel rate are considerably reduced.
