Methods estimating the change in the specific fuel consumption for electricity generation at con- densing power station caused by including a gas-expansion power(GEP)unit in its scheme are considered. The effect of including the GEP unit in the scheme is analyzed for a constant power of the station and a constant steam flow rate to the turbines. The results of calculations of changes in the specific fuel consumption for elec- tricity generation when the GEP unit is included in the condensing power station, which is equipped with K-300-240 turbines, are described.
