A Study of the Concentration of Stresses in the T-Joints of Steam-Line Pipes Operating under High Parameters

摘要

A procedure for calculating the concentration of the stresses in the T-joints of pipes is developed; it is based on a numerical method in the theory of elasticity(the method of the boundary integral equations). This procedure(as compared with others based on the theory of thin shells)is free from limitations related to the wall thickness and can be applied to steam lines operating under high parameters.
