摘要

By means of integral correlations taking into account the effect of thermal acceleration of gas flows on shear stresses and turbulent viscosity, calculations of the heat transfer and pressure drop of gases and gas mixtures, differing in their Prandtl number and the temperature dependence of thermophysical properties, in round tubes away from the tube inlet are performed. The results of the calculations are compared with empirical correlations that are used in engineering practice.
